Oh how things can change in a week, many trees are now bare
as the leaves have continued to fall amidst the snowflakes,
the turkeys have returned from their summer holidays to huddle and shiver all winter in our woods after months without even a gobble, gobble,
and a blast of arctic air from Canada has arrived and Harper’s so cold she actually wants to wear her hat in the house.
The week also brought drastic changes to our life as last week’s adventures
were quickly forgotten after Harper’s spaying surgery. She’s being spoiled every minute while we recuperate from the surgery and has no idea that her Suitical recovery suit has saved her from the horrible cone as she sleeps peacefully.
Luckily I have many great series to watch (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Castle Rock, The Morning Show, Succession, Dickinson), a few football games and two fantastic new books to read as I try to refrain her from her acrobatic ways until the stitches are removed.
An eventful week! Little Harper seems to be recovering in style. Love her onesie. The trees are bare here, too, but no snow and no extremely cold weather. In the 30s and 40s, more or less normal for Maine for this time of year.

Thank you!🙂 She’s recovery quickly and today she already tried to convince me she’s all healed and can play. It felt like it was in the teens yesterday and with record-setting cold temps on the way, we will be happily hiding indoors binge watching our shows.🙂

Aw Little thing! But what a great idea the suit is! – Any dog would rather Not wear the Cone of Shame! 😀

Thank you!🙂 Love she doesn’t have to wear the cone and that she actually likes her little suit, but she wishes it came in a winter version since she’s not adjusting to the cold.🙂

Your fall is turning to winter, as here. We got first snow today. Kisses to Harper.

Always love the first snowfall, but I wasn’t expecting the winter temperatures already. Harper thanks you for the kisses!!🐾😁

Oh poor Harper. Hopefully back to normal soon. Is it nice to see your turkeys back?

Thank you!🙂 She’s already trying to convince me she’s back to normal and wants to know what’s wrong with me.😁 I have to admit that I have a bit of an attitude against the turkeys that disappeared as soon as the weather was nice and now expect me to go out in the freezing cold with extra snacks.😁

What a week! And what a little suit there for Harper – great solution.
A new Lee Child already? I’ll be at the end of a long wait list at the library…
Enjoy your weekend, inside and/or out!

I like your ‘Week In 7 Photos’ theme here. Your Yorkie is very cute! We have a Welsh Terrier, Augie … sort of in between a Yorkie and Airedale.
