The meaning of life messages can certainly change over the decades. I remember when I first began working in the 80s that a “Hang In There” cat poster in someone’s cubicle always made me smile with thoughts of making it to Friday. Decades later when life sends me a “hang in there” message, I immediately panic and think what do you mean I’m just hanging by a thread.

Nice visual message. Sometimes all we can do is hang in there. However, there are other times when we must fish or cut bait. 😉

I feel I am hanging by a thread some days, too.

Sometimes hanging on delays the inevitable. My finger-ends are evidence of this. Yay for simpler times.
