Monday Musings

At least one of us was thrilled with more time to explore on the weekend now that the college football season has ended.  Harper is not allowed to freely explore without being on her leash at home, with all the backyard visitors and an increase in coyote sightings and attacks in the area, so she believes a fair compromise should be that she gets to set the pace and choose the paths while we’re out wandering.

She also believes she should be able to choose how often we stop and

that she should not have to sit and pose during her valuable exploring time.

Sometimes I’m able to convince her to choose a path for a photo opportunity, but

her enthusiasm for my shots equals my enthusiasm for stopping every ten feet.

    1. Thank you!😁 I’m thrilled we’re to the stage where she loves exploring and her winter jackets, but I hope she’s not so excited that she thinks I should give up watching all my other football games for more walks.😁

    1. Thank you!🙂 All the snow will disappear this weekend and Santa must have heard about my attitude problem this year and ignored my request for a white Christmas!😁
