After complaining all winter about our gray skies, we finally woke to a beautiful sky that lasted throughout the day which I was beginning to think was impossible.
Harper was not impressed and did not want to leave her bed since the blue sky arrived with our coldest temperatures of the year and she
was still recovering from icy paws
and too may treats she shared with her best buddy throughout the previous week.
The turkeys shared her sentiment and the only sign of them was a feather in the snow as they stayed hidden in the woods all day
and enjoying the sunshine in the park is going to have to wait a little while longer.

A real winterday! No snow, no sun here.

Have to admit I was probably more excited about the blue skies over the weekend than winter finally arriving in February.π

Those ice chunks are fascinating to look at. They look like a pile of ice coins. Quick! Use them before they melt. As always, Harper is utterly adorable.

Thank you!πΎπ I loved how the ice looked along the shore, even in the bitter cold, and surprisingly we were the only ones out enjoying the beautiful winter scenery.π

Those ice chips on the shore are fascinating – must be some wind!
Stay warm!

Thank you!π I wish I could have stayed longer taking photos of all the fabulous ice along the shore, but my photography assistant refused to work long under those weather conditions.π

I am very envious of your lovely blue sky. Its grey, murky and very wet here. Harper would hate it in Yorkshire right now even though we have no ice to freeze her little paws.

Lucky to have blue skies again today and I canβt believe it, but the forecast has sunny skies all weekend and temperatures warm enough to keep Harperβs little paws from freezing.π
