The colors have faded,

the leaves have fallen,

and boaters have taken their last sunrise jaunt.

While some hunker down and transition to the next season,

there are those who will resist the inevitable transition to the cold lonely days of winter

lost in thoughts of blue

promising brighter days.

I love the artistic painting effect of your photos 😀
And to the turkey “resisting the inevitable transition to the cold lonely days of winter” – (btw great words!) – I guess he is just happy to be alive, this close to Thanksgiving and Christmas!! 😀

Thank you!😁 Yes, the turkeys are very happy living in our turkey sanctuary and inviting more of their friends.😁 It’s that time of year when the photography opportunities transition and I’m hoping a few artistic apps and more writing will help with creativity (which is struggling this year) or I’ll just transition to a turkey blog this winter.😁

Well I love your turkey sanctuary! 😀
And your blog is always interesting to read and full of lovely photos. 🙂
Though I do understand how you feel – I think we’re all a bit jaded this Corona year!

Thank you!😁 I definitely know how jaded I feel this year, while many are already decorating their homes for the holidays and I usually begin sharing holiday photos and songs, I still can’t tell it’s that time of year and I haven’t even been able to begin my early listening to Christmas music and don’t know what I’ll do if Elvis doesn’t eventually cheer me up a little.

Aw – Yes, I’m also finding it hard to get into the Christmas spirit! I hope Elvis can work his magic for you eventually! 😀

Oh how I enjoyed this painterly and poetic review of the week, ACI. We’ve had quite a week in America. I love that photo with the leaves actually falling. Cheers to you.

Thank you and I love those painting apps!🙂 It was strange writing about the season winding down while it felt like summer here with record temps in the 70s, but I imagine we can all agree nothing is normal this year (how in the world can Brady be a Buccaneer!!🏈😁). Enjoy the weekend!🙂

Some early winter chill coming through in these images! Still, the promise of bright blue days ahead might keep you warm? Late January is looking very promising…
Enjoy the weekend!

Thank you!🙂 It felt like summer earlier in the week, but definitely feels like winter today. While someone appears incapable of understanding the meaning of transition, I’ve already mentally transitioned to January 20, 2021 and am thrilled a few of my favorite news programs have joined me by refusing to cover his latest antics and I can already announce Tottenham as projected top of the table by then too!! Enjoy the weekend!🙂

The weekend is off to an excellent start – a new AC/DC album out today, and it’s good! (Phew…)
I’m enjoying how news channels are cutting away and reporting falsehoods. You know that hurts the toddler in chief.
If Spurs win the Premier League, Mourinho will be (even more) unbearable. I hope it happens!

I can’t believe I forgot about the new AC/DC album (it will have to be added to my new vinyl collection), but once you listen to my Saturday song choice you’ll realize I’m still a little unbalanced from my election stress. Thanks for jinxing Mourinho!!!😁

Hello turkeys. Nice effects with the pictures. I do like the falling leaves. Certainly transitioning now and it will be Christmas again before we know it.

Thank you!🙂 Still have a few leaves on the ground that are whipping around the yard with our high winds today and will be covered with snow overnight.

Your high winds must have swept across the Atlantic and over the Pennines to my neck of the woods. We’ve been battered. Cold grey November day today though, still not anticipating the white stuff 🌨❄

Hope your windy weather is improving, we had around 200,000 without power, but thankfully we never lost power with the 60 mph wind gusts.🙂
