Photograph – 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon – North Coast
What Stopped Me In My Tracks In The Wine Aisle – Still love home delivery of the Sunday newspaper and I was searching for Photograph in the wine aisle after seeing it in the Target Weekly Ad, which has always been a favorite.
What Attracted Me To The Wine/Label – The name immediately brought to mind a favorite hobby and rock band and, of course, once I saw the wine named Photograph in the ad, I had a very important reason for a shopping trip to Target. “A snapshot. A moment in time. A memory we long to capture forever. Photographs are proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect.”
What Else Attracted Me To The Wine Label – The fabulous photograph (by Dino Reichmuth on Unsplash). I’ve been obsessed during the pandemic watching travel shows and dreaming about road trips and this wonderful photograph gave me another chance to dream about purchasing a van designed by Tommy Camper Vans and hitting the road.
Something Else I Loved About The Wine/Label – A wonderful excuse to share a favorite band and song from the ’80s. I’ve never been able to part with my Def Leppard Pyromania cassette tape that includes the great song Photograph. Wonderful to discover a wine that very pleasantly lets you escape through a photograph and reminisce about Def Leppard concerts, daydream about road trips, ponder your next photo opportunity and enjoy that I found a wonderful new doormat at Target while wandering toward the wine aisle.

What I Loved About The Wine Description – I can dream about driving along the North Coast “just like with photographs, these wines were developed by our winemaker to capture the distinct moment and place where each of these specially crafted wines were sourced.” While my general wine review falls along the line of pour me a little more, this one is described as “notes of black fruit, leather, rhubarb, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.”
Review – On the road again, to Target, there are a few more photographs I need to daydream over.
