That’s a good quote. Sylvia Plath has a local connection over here. I know she was American but she was married to Ted Hughes, a Halifax based poet laureate.
I’m currently reading Three Martini Afternoons At The Ritz: The Rebellion of Sylvia Plath & Anne Sexton by Gail Crowther and just finished the chapter with Sylvia Plath arriving at Cambridge University and marrying Ted Hughes within a year.🙂
