The Week In Seven Photos

I’m not sure if it’s due to tv commercials or the billions of TikTok dance videos out there, but some days I feel a little left out that Iโ€™m not dancing while I cook, walk the trails or when Iโ€™m feeling โ€œFancy Likeโ€ Applebees. Amazingly this week, I could join the dancers of the world after finally having my hair highlighted after two very, very long years and doing a few “Footloose” moves on the way back to the car. I’m trying to remember the last time I danced with that much enthusiasm and I immediately thought of a little jig I performed in my kitchen a few weeks ago when the oven broke. I told Harper “You Should Be Dancing” after hearing that Bryce Harper won the Hank Aaron Award this week and surprisingly she said I Want To Dance.” With my love of music, I feel I should have been dancing more often throughout my life and maybe dance lessons in my early years would have been more beneficial than practicing my end zone touchdown dances for the great backyard football battles against my brother. An exciting end to the week was discovering the return of the limited edition White Fudge Covered Oreo cookies and if by some chance you see a video of someone dancing down the grocery aisle with a few boxes, itโ€™s not me. Not surprisingly, I don’t really have any dancing photos to share, but the beautiful fall color leaves have been dancing through the air before twirling along the trails.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ˜ Weโ€™ve never had our oak leaves drop this early and after two days of wind the road and yard has disappeared and I can just see myself doing a few Gene Kelly moves kicking up the leaves while โ€œsinginโ€™ and dancingโ€ in the rain and snow this weekend!๐Ÿ˜
