  1. Great minds think alike! We, too, have been watching “Wallander” and “Young Wallander.” Oh, that Scandinavian angst. Also, I’ve been watching—all right, binging—“Somebody Somewhere” on HBO. It’s a Jay and Mark Duplass production, and not surprisingly the show has a definite indie vibe with lots of quirky characters. But it’s got a lot of heart as it deals with family and grief. And, fair warning, a lot of F-bombs. Doesn’t bother me, even though I’m old, but I know it bothers some people.

    1. It’s funny that after years of reading all the Wallander books and how much I love the Kenneth Branagh Wallander series that I had a little bit of an attitude about the Young Wallander series when I first read about it, but then the attitude quickly went away before I finished the first episode. I just added Somebody Somewhere to my list last week after reading great reviews and after your comments (love quirky characters and F-bombs are not an issue), I’m now going to begin watching it tonight.🙂
