    Sweet picture! I really like “Slow Horses.” One of my favorite shows. I have requested the book through interlibrary loan. Looking forward to reading it.

        I’m hoping that we get tenants in the nest boxes posted around the yard. Last year we have tree swallows, bluebirds, chickadees and house wrens. The activity was wonderful to watch.

        The birds definitely know how to choose a wonderful nesting area!🙂 Yesterday my mom was talking about some shrubs my brother recommended to plant in her yard and, with my limited gardening skills, as soon as she saw my face she said they attract cardinal nests and I said you should have led with that.😁

        I always have a pair of cardinals in our hemlock hedge out front. From where I sit I can watch them come and go. That hedge is pretty popular with robins, catbirds, doves and sparrows, too. Evergreens offer great cover.

    Great photo! I’m listening to the audiobook of “Slow Horses” and enjoying it – very funny. Looking forward to seeing how Gary Oldman takes it on – he’s probably very good?!

      Thank you!🙂 Wonderful cast and Gary Oldman is fantastic in the role. Hope I don’t finish the book before the series, but with winter returning again today I could be done by the end of the week.🙂
