I loved Romancing the Stone and now need to watch it!!😁 Somehow I ended up with a Channing Tatum double feature after it was very difficult to choose a new show after the great new season of Stranger Things. It ended up being a good choice after The Lost City made me laugh, Dog made me cry and somehow Channing Tatum snuck onto my favorite list.😁 Have you watched the new Joe Pickett series based on the books?

Romancing the Stone is great fun. I will look out for both these you’ve recommended – two actors with charisma and comic timing!
I’m not too sure about wanting to watch the Joe Pickett series. The actor was really good in For All Mankind, but he doesn’t strike me as the Joe Pickett type? I enjoy the books, although the recent ones seem to be love letters to falconry, and the falconry aspects seem to have determined the plots, or plot resolutions too much. Have you seen it? -
I’m still in the early books of the series and so far I prefer the Joe Pickett I pictured in the books over the series, but I’m adjusting to the new image with each episode and I love the Alberta filming location.🙂
