      Love the rare sighting of a duck in a tree and these are wood ducks. The sun was shining right in my eyes and while I knew it wasn’t our local mallards, at the time of the photo I had no idea that it was wood ducks as they are not normal visitors to this lake. I love wood ducks and was very excited to see them on my computer afterwards.😁

        We actually do have wood ducks around here. I’ve just never seen them in a tree. Wonderful that you got a picture of them in a tree.
