    Wow, I love the soft colours! I remember swimming out to the raft on the lake I grew up on in Oakland County. Those long Coon Tail weeds as we called them would touch me and it freaked me out!

        That is what my sister told me a few days ago, that the lake is suddenly much busier. She is really on about the wake surfers and the large waves that she sees as damaging some shoreline areas. I’m on the fence about that…

        We never saw anyone doing this on that lake when we were growing up. The lake is private and no snowmobiles or jet skis or the like are allowed, and no outboard engines until the four-stroke e outboards came along. And, the city caps the horsepower at less than 150 I think. Kind of like my HOA here having jurisdiction!
