Christmas Movie Season

The Christmas movie season has begun and as is often the tradition, Die Hard and Home Alone kicked off the movie marathon. I always try to mix in some new movies every year hoping they will become a permanent part of the Christmas movie celebration and was off to a rough start with several movies that I wasn’t even able to finish. Thankfully an old favorite, Paul Giamatti, came to the rescue with his new movie The Holdovers and the wonderful combination of Paul Giamatti, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Dominic Sessa ensured I will be adding a new favorite to the yearly Christmas movie marathon.

  2. I like the Holiday feel of this picture. Very welcoming, festive sight indeed. I always smile when I hear Die Hard being part of folks’ Christmas viewing. It has enjoyed a long shelf life as a result. One of my favorite films of all-time, and always worthy of taking off the shelf and giving it a view any time of year.

    1. Thank you!🎄🙂 I have a habit of rewatching favorites and I do believe that Die Hard is at the top of my list of movies that I’ve lost track over the decades of how many times I’ve watched it and loved it.🙂

      1. It was filmed in our valley, so many of the towns are familiar to me. 🙂
