It’s hard to believe, but I might be changing my ways in my old age. I’ve always loved sunrise walks, but after an evening walk through an illuminated forest I’ve found a new favorite walking experience. What a beautiful escape into another world surrounded by stars and northern lights. I love the Christmas lights in neighborhoods and along Main Street in December and now wish along with those that the lighted forest walk would continue on weekends throughout the dark winter. I’ve discovered that a few of our state parks have lantern-lit winter hikes throughout the season and hopefully I’ll be able to add another favorite walk.
