    Majestic!! I don’t know if this is true or not but hard to believe Benjamin Franklin advocated for the humble turkey as a symbol of the new nation. Love the gobblers but bald eagles do inspire!!

    Is that a quick-shot series, or are those shots interspersed while you watched? Stunning either way. I’m very envious. I haven’t photographed an eagle since…2006? I never seem to see them at convenient-to-photograph times.

      I can never be satisfied with watching an eagle from a distance and always try to get a little closer. These shots were taken quickly when I disturbed his lunch and the look of annoyance was after he dropped his lunch in the lake while flying away.🙂
