    I love these little chickadees! I just read an email from my friend in Elba Township, Lapper County that it’s been very foggy there, maybe the snow will go away!

      They are one of my favorite backyard birds and I’m ok with the fog, but it needs to warm up some to get rid of the ice from the last storm.🙂

        I just saw some video on the weather channel showing ice storm damage somewhere, not in Michigan. Back in the 90s, I had my son and daughter with me for a day visit (visitation), there was an ice storm going on. Hot wires cut the neighbor’s small tree in half and arced on my steel fence! Very scary to watch. It was dead calm and quiet so I could hear branches breaking all around me. 💀

        That must have been very scary for everyone!! We were glad to get through this storm with the power on and we have quite a few big branches down that will have to be taken care of once the weather calms down.

        It was unforgettable. A chainsaw should take care of your tree damage, I hope they survive. The weather here will be in the upper 60s later this week which will be great.

    I just love these little black-capped sweeties… also our state bird. Being gone so much of this winter, I’m afraid I’m out of luck spotting a snowy owl this year. Always happy watching my chickadees. Nice capture!
