  1. Fun picture!

As for your question…I listened to some of that podcast. Belive it or not, I have never seen Pulp Fiction, but after listening to The Rewatchables, I have been thinking that it’s high time to rectify this.

I have watched Forest Gump. It is one weird puppy of a movie.

    1. Thank you!🙂 I always rate my love of a movie by how many times I’ve watched it over the years and Pulp Fiction definitely falls in the Rewatchables category. As much as I love Tom Hanks, I haven’t watched Forrest Gump since the 90s. We have storms/rain forecast for the weekend and I was thinking about a double feature to see what I feel about them this year, especially after listening to that very in-depth podcast about the movie.🙂

      1. I, too. like Tom Hanks, but Forrest Gump is one odd puppy of a movie. Because of you and the Rewatchables, Pulp Fiction is on the docket for this weekend. I will let you know what I think.

  2. Thirty years ago?! Now I feel old… They are both good movies – watch ‘em both!

    1. Yep, we’re old!!😁 After my niece gave the new Twisters a bad review, I’m thinking about a double feature after the Premier League morning. I’ve watched Pulp Fiction many times over the years and we’ll see if my opinion of Forrest Gump has changed since watching it in the 90s.🙂

  4. While I adore Forrest Gump, I have to go with Pulp Fiction. It blew my mind the first time I watched it. Any time I stumble across it on TV, I just have to sit a spell and bask in its amazing labyrinth of a story!

    1. Pulp Fiction definitely falls in the Rewatchables category and since I haven’t seen Forrest Gump since the 90s, I’m planning on a double feature this weekend. I love Tom Hanks, but what a cast in Pulp Fiction!🙂

    1. Every time I hear that a movie or song that I love is 30 or 40 years old I’m in shock!! Hope you had a wonderful vacation and you’re enjoying your walks and garden.🙂

      1. Not really had chance to go out an awful lot, but I have started taming my garden at least. It’s small but fierce. Not too sure when my next blog post will be yet.

  6. We own Forrest Gump but hadn’t rewatched it for years and then found it on TV one day and rewatched it and wondered why we hadn’t rewatched it more often. Once it starts it sucks you in. I used to own Pulp Fiction on VHS but didn’t get it on DVD so it’s been longer since I saw that.

    1. Rewatched Pulp Fiction over the weekend and still loved John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson and the movie. Plan on watching Forrest Gump again, but somehow keep choosing other movies…must be what has happened over the years since I haven’t watched it again since the 90s.🙂

  7. Love the photo–so coincidental. I too have never seen Pulp Fiction to the consternation of just about everyone I run into. I keep saying I’ll rectify that situation, but with all the movies in my queue and my abysmal record at actually watching them… Forest Gump I consider a classic somewhat like Little Big Man or even a toned down Huck Finn.

    1. Thank you!🙂 I’ve watched Pulp Fiction a number of times over the years, but it’s been a few years since I watched the complete movie and wondered if my opinion had changed. I was happy to discover I still think it’s a great movie and John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson are fabulous together. I was going to watch Forrest Gump again, but it continues to remain on my watch again list since the 90s.🙂
