It’s a mystery to me as to why I haven’t visited an Olga’s Kitchen restaurant in years. Olga’s is a Michigan based restaurant that began in 1970 as a Greek-American family restaurant chain and currently has 25 locations. It was one of my favorite lunch spots when I first began working in the ‘80s, but somehow we lost touch over the years as happens with many things. After working on this photo, I looked up their menu and discovered since the old days they have added a New Cuban Olga that I plan on enjoying this week. It’s also a mystery to me how quickly this photo became about Olga’s and not the snazzy classic, but that’s what memories will do sometimes.
