Thankful Thursday

So many things to be thankful for this week and at the top of my list is my normal PET scan. The first step toward remission is over and the next step will be a bone marrow biopsy that is being scheduled. I’m thankful for an amazing week of feeling like my old self by going for a walk with my niece and the dogs and going to a food truck rally. Due to my low blood counts and risk of infection, I have been living a very secluded life for the last five months. I’m still wearing a mask whenever I’m around people and avoiding crowds and while I don’t have the strength and energy I use to, I was grateful to be out in the world until my inner voice said I hope you have enough strength to get back to the car.

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I was diagnosed with lymphoma last November and by January it had transformed into an aggressive form of lymphoma. It was a scary couple months after that, but I’m currently feeling good and hoping I’m in remission.
