I hope the little thieves continue to visit even though the flowers are gone. Most likely they will move on to the bird feeder next if they do return. We finally had a big rainfall a few days ago after a very dry late spring and early summer.
We have fared better … the white tail doe and her young often graze on the tall grass in our yard but never bother the domestic flowers. (Having bragged about that I hope I look out tomorrow and still see untouched flower beds!)
