Did you ever know that you’re my hero?

You’re everything I wish I could be.

I could fly higher than an eagle,

For you are the wind beneath my wings.

      1. Try to get close to one on a calm day. When one dives after something, you’ll be amazed at the sound that comes from their wings! A very unique sound to say the least & one I might add that’ll raise the hair on the back of your neck!
Sometimes I take a client out on a photo shoot. We visit one of my eagle friends & they instantly start taking pictures.I shut the engine off so is quiet &them to leave their camera alone. It’s about then they always give me a strange look.By the way, these people pay me a good fee to take them out on a wildlife shoot & expect to get the best eagle shots of their life but I’m telling them to put the camera aside & listen..So to tell them to leave their camera alone always produces the strangest looks!
I explain whats to happen & for them to listen closely.I also tell them to close their eyes.Never fails…..every single person has their hair standing up ! It’s a very strange sound. It can only be experienced, not explained.
