    Whenever I see something unusual,I always ask “why”? I thought maybe some sand dwelling worms might of done this,but not sure?Is this fresh or salt?

      I was also asking why when I saw these patterns for the first time on this fresh water lake. Our lakes are usually covered with snow this time of year and I was wondering if our unusual weather alternating between rain and ice helped create this great scene.
