Frosty – Fifty Word Story

The walkers strolled by and appeared to miss the natural artwork as eyes were cast

toward the warmth of the sky and its kaleidoscope of colors.

They failed to notice in pockets of cold isolation, the frosty spheres illuminating and reflecting

all of nature’s beauty in melting pools of light.

  2. It is amazing how water droplets freeze to their surroundings and in turn create such fascinating natural works of art. I must confess however, I did count to see if there were 50 words. Well done!

    1. Thank you! The transition over the last few weeks from winter to spring-like temperatures has created beautiful scenes and artwork on the lakes. The lakes may be interesting this weekend with another change back to winter.

    1. I’m often one of those walkers looking toward the sky and at the trees for birds, but luckily when I’m walking Gabby I have to closely monitor the ground and what trouble she’s getting into. Thanks to her I often discover many unusual things I might have missed.

      1. Ah – that’s a good enough reason to look down and see these lovely formations. 🙂
I am usually scanning distant horizons for the chance of any other dogs around, when I walk LM! 🙂
