  1. Lovely images. Did a double take on the turtle…I though it was resting on a Hippo or Croc! Very clever.

Another stunning week in review, ACI. Enjoyed the shoulder season aspects here. The beauty of autumn with the river littered with fallen leaves and the pumpkin scene, as well as the turtle in the sun looking like summer, and the heron in the sun, too. Each photo, so gorgeous; but my favorite is the calf, that almond-shaped eye, his hide patterns, and his pensive expression.

    1. Thank you!🙂 We are still experiencing a combination of summer/autumn and while the turtle and heron were enjoying the weather, the hawk was wondering when the migrating ducks would finally be arriving and was spending a little too long looking at Gabby. Watching the young calves, it was fun to notice the different personalities and this one was looking pensive as another in the group was trying to get everyone to play. Enjoy your weekend.🙂
