      I enjoy trying to capture fall colors at this park and I love the winter contrast to that season with the shadows of the bare trees surrounding the picnic table and a lone leaf resting on the snow.šŸ™‚

      Gabby voted for a very short walk instead of a picnic and after watching the people at the park on snowshoes, I wonder why I still like traipsing through the snow in my boots and ending up with a boot full of snow by the end of the walk.šŸ˜

    Fab! I would so unpack a few sandwiches, a bit of cake, oh and a small flask of whisky. And I would sit there and enjoy them till I was numb with cold, then I could trudge back and have some hot coffee and soup. šŸ™‚

      Woke up this morning to a wind chill of -23 and your picnic ideas sound so wonderful that Iā€™m going to enjoy an indoor picnic today of coffee, soup, grilled cheese sandwich and a little nightcap of whiskey.šŸ™‚ Iā€™m going to be thinking about the cake, but little chance of running to the store or baking today.šŸ˜
