Stop And Smell The Roses

When someone yells stop, I don’t know whether it’s in the name of love, it’s Hammer time, or time to stop and smell the roses.

  1. So odd to see the roses frozen out there in the snow. Looks like there’s still some scent left as your little dog sniffs them πŸ™‚

    1. On seeing the roses, Gabby’s first response was to stop and smell the roses while I was wondering if the recently discarded bouquet at this romantic spot to watch the sunset was from a lover’s quarrel.

  2. Maybe they are yelling stop because it’s a traffic cop and you are jaywalking! πŸ™‚

    1. The traffic cop would probably be yelling stop and get your wild little dog under control. Gabby can be a little excited on her leash at the beginning of a walk.😁

  4. I honestly don’t know if he had any other hits, but it doesn’t matter, because he gave us this! Mrs. PC is already shaking her head…

    1. Too Legit To Quit comes to mind, but nothing is close to this great hit. I have to be careful when this plays on my headphones when biking with Gabby that I don’t lose control of the bike.😁

  5. Hahaha, love it. Great quote. If the roses still had a day or two’s life left in them I would have been scooping them up and putting them in a vase at home. No sign saying you can’t touch these!

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ Gabby believes everything needs to be touched and inspected on our walks and this was one of the few times it was hard for her to drag me away once we stopped.πŸ™‚

  6. Yes, it does make you wonder. It sort of looks like the roses were flung. Well, it’s a strange old world we live in. My husband’s motto is “expect weirdness,” and he’s never disappointed. πŸ˜‰

    1. At the same time that I was busy creating many scenarios of why the flowers were flung there, I was so glad to finally be able to photograph flowers outdoors again after a long winter. I like tour husband’s motto.πŸ™‚

  7. Great to see MC Hammer at his finest, and I really liked your artistry with the roses, ACI. What a profound sight to have come upon, I’m glad you made the best of this scene.
