The Week In Seven Photos

After a month of just horrible humidity and my dew point obsession reaching its limit when it hit 70, we finally had a beautiful day that was the cat’s meow (the dew point was 47!!).

The wonderful cool breeze made me want to hitch a ride directly to fall and enjoying college football games and cider mills.

Did somebody mention football??

This week I think the sun set on my favorite baseball player, Bryce Harper, making it into the postseason with the Washington Nationals.  A very disappointing season for the Nationals and I wonder where Harper will be playing next year.  Time for a back-up plan for the playoffs – GO RED SOX!!  GO CUBS!!  GO YANKEES!!

It was another wild week that blew the lid off several ongoing political stories

that I’m sure caused someone to overheat.

Fall fashion magazines and a cool fall-like breeze, I think I need a glass of wine before I cry!!

    1. Thank you!🙂 These few days of great weather should get me through the next round of muggy weather without too much complaining.😁

You’ve almost made it to fall, and better sports-watching weather! Gabby will be pleased with Liverpool so far this season, and I’m happy Everton hasn’t lost (yet!)
Great photos, and enjoyed the overheating and blown up references from the political week. What a week…
Enjoy your weekend, and I hope there are a few happy hours!

    1. Thank you and we are definitely ready for fall weather and football!🏈 I’ve had to subscribe to a couple of British newspapers for my Premier League news and so far I’m still following Manchester United (even with all the off-field drama and poor on-field play), Liverpool, Tottenham (Kane scored!) and last weekend I added Chelsea after watching Marcos Alonso. I have definitely been following the news this week and loved that the two court cases ended simultaneously with excellent split screen coverage. It’s been interesting after reading the coverage in our newspapers to now also read about it on the front page of the British papers. I must admit I had no idea so much could be written about Cricket, but I don’t think I have extra time right now to add that sport into the mix.😁 Enjoy your weekend!🙂
