We had our final burst of autumn color before the arrival of rain, wind and snow.
I don’t think I have to go out on a limb
to say that even though there were a few flowers remaining on Tuesday, it appears
the gardening tools can be traded in for snow shovels (could not resist one more skeleton!).
It was a pleasure this week to walk through the park after two months with vertigo to swirling leaves and thoughts instead of the world swirling around.
Harper and I enjoyed out last colorful autumn visit to the park, that is until this tough little guy
intent on a shakedown for snacks momentarily refused to allow us to reach our favorite spot in the park.
Gorgeous colours! 😀 Is that a red panda?
And very glad your vertigo has gone! 🙂

Thank you!🙂 I’m not sure what triggered my year of vertigo, but after this long episode, I hope it’s over for good. We have three red pandas at our Detroit Zoo and after many visits it was great to finally see one of them, even if it disappeared quickly into the trees.🙂

I’ve had vertigo in the past – like you, no idea what caused it. Glad yours is over now 😀

A beautiful swirl of leaves! Wonderful photo. Sorry you had vertigo. Yuck. What is that animal in the tree? Looks a bit like a racoon.

Thank you!🙂 That is one of the three red pandas we have at our Detroit Zoo that I finally had a chance to see exploring instead of hiding away. I think a celebration is in order for no vertigo and our first snowfall!🍷❄️😁

May have to stop by my favorite market and bakery for extra supplies for that extra hour of celebration this weekend!🧁🍷😁

Great photos, and the red panda, always so cute. Here is in Ähtäri zoo/ animal park these red pandas, and there is two big pandas, too. The Finnish state got them from China.

Once seen those big pandas you will never forget them. They are so special. When we saw them here, the girl panda was sitting on her “shelf” looking at us, eating a carrot, and she looked like she was smiling to us. There is somewhere in my blog photo of her.

Happy to read you’re over the vertigo – very unpleasant…
Great colours, including the panda, an autumnal fellow. Whereas the duck is simply an unpleasant wannabe tough guy. Maybe a bit more than wannabe – I’ve stepped back when one has waddled with fierce intent in my direction!
Have a good weekend, and enjoy the extra hour by not shoveling snow!

Thank you!🙂 The ducks have reclaimed the park after the summer invasion of people and in one section of the park we had to hurry away when fifteen of them started chasing us. A great weekend to celebrate snowflakes, no vertigo and a Spurs win over Everton! Enjoy the weekend!😁

A Spurs win over Everton? Probably… I’m sulking because SA beat England in the RWC final earlier. They were the better team on the day!
Thanks for stopping by OPC earlier – don’t know how or why, but the comment/reply section isn’t there. I think I’ve fixed it, but maybe not!

I completely understand sulking after a sports loss and I’ll stop by for a comment after the Spurs match, unless I’m sulking.😁

What fab autumn colours. Hope the leaves continue to swirl, and not your head. It’s been a swirly weekend of sports with England losing in the rugby world cup final and Bournemouth beating Manchester United 😟

Thank you!🙂 This last week has been the best I have felt all year and I’m really hoping it continues. Rain and sleet mixed with leaves this weekend and Man United and Tottenham are wearing me out!🙂
