Cotton Candy Sunrise

Orange Crush and cotton candy collided and dovetailed, making the sky look like a watercolor that had been left out in the rain.

  1. Great photo, it reminds me of the lake I grew up on in Oakland County, I was afraid to swim out to the rafts because of that large Coon Tail weed as we called it. It seems to be like fingers grabbing you!

    1. Thank you and at this age I donโ€™t even like when the lake weeds touch the bottom of my kayak.๐Ÿ˜

      1. You too! They just scare me. It’s the not knowing what is beneath you. In those days, my friend who lived in the next bay over came up with the idea of putting handles and an attachment point on a small board which we used to literally dive several feet down while tied to my parents’ pontoon boat as they had their evening cruise and drinks. Doing this now seems so insane, those weeds!
