  1. Hi what is the water for? doesn’t look like the weather is cold enough for skating?

    1. It’s usually that time of year here where people are out ice skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling and enjoying ice festivals, but whatever ice and snow we had has melted.🙂

  2. Covering some kind of pool? Looks pretty clear where you live. Strange winter, isn’t it?

    1. I don’t recall ever having a Michigan winter like this with no snow and ice skating rinks melting in January. At least the swans are enjoying the lakes again now that the ice has disappeared.🙂

  3. I am now old enough to remember, when just about all our Parks had Bandstands… and they were used as Bandstands. Regular live music, usually on a Sunday….. fun, sociable and relaxing…. and free – donations accepted. 🙂

    1. Just earlier this week we were talking about how we watched the tv show American Bandstand while we were growing up.🙂 We’re lucky to have wonderful parks around us that offer a wide variety of events year round and several have free concerts throughout the summer.🙂

    1. No ice skating, ice fishing or snowmobiling around here this month, so I think we can just skip winter this year!!🙂

    1. We’ve gone way beyond a weird winter!! Not only do I not know what month it is, I no longer know what state I live in! Zero sunshine and snow this month and my niece refuses to get the kayaks out this early so we can join the swans on the lake.🙂

    1. OMG, I can’t believe this weather!! I think we’ve had five minutes of sunshine this month in between rain, fog and dark gray days. The extended forecast has milder temps and no snow. I’m not fond of these dreary days, but the swans love having the lake back.🙂
