iPhone Journey – Day 44

As we move through these fall days and dark cooler mornings, Iโ€™m reminded how much I miss my early morning sunrises. One more important item about life and fall mornings is that I donโ€™t appreciate anyone thinking for me, including cars, and whoever designs these new automobiles with the automatic heated steering wheel and seats should keep in mind that a women drinking hot coffee and having a hot flash is swearing at them and saying that they should not turn on automatically until itโ€™s at least 30 below zero.

  2. Your photo would be a good background for the cover of a mystery/thriller book.

  3. Ha, I hear you! Obviously, designed by a young male, harrumph.
Love the photo. With the time change soon you’ll have your sunrise back, at least for a while.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ˜ I was driving my husbandโ€™s truck for a few weeks and arguing with it every day!! It not only set my heated seats to high, but was constantly telling me how to drive. I may have to just happily walk in the cold, without a coat!!๐Ÿ˜

  4. Beautiful, beautiful photo! One of the benefits of having a very basic car is that there are few automatic features, and the ones we do have—beeping when we forget to turn off the lights—are useful. But I can certainly imagine what it must be like to be on the hot seat while having a hot flash.

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ I know they claim weโ€™re suppose to like all this new technology in our cars, but I was driving my husbandโ€™s truck the last few weeks and literally found myself yelling at the truck for telling me how to drive and automatically setting the heated seats to high!!๐Ÿ˜

  6. On the other hand, one of the cool features in my new Aviator is my discovery that the Lane Keeping feature ACTUALLY STEERS THE CAR AROUND A BEND! (without me touching the wheel) I am planning all sorts of ways to totally scare the shit out of an ignorant passenger using this feature.

    1. Ok, Iโ€™m definitely going to have to find an old car with none of the fancy stuff, just a fabulous radio and speakers!๐Ÿ™‚
