iPhone Journey – Day 56

I ended October trying to choose a theme for my least favorite month of the year and when I asked my niece if she had any ideas, I received a text later in the day about her celebrating NOvember, saying no to everything. That was not the direction I was headed, but after waking to snow and temperatures in the 20s, my attitude might quickly be changing. New Rule – Weather Gods, don’t tease me with Halloween snow unless you’re willing to promise me a white Christmas.

  1. Ha! So you got it, too? It feels a bit shocking, but I have to admit that the glitter this morning is pretty!

    1. We had places in our state that had to cancel Halloween because of treacherous roads and over ten inches of snow. I thought it was very pretty, but I obviously still have an attitude about not having a white Christmas the last few years.πŸ™‚

      1. A heatwave, eh? I’m really not looking forward to fling up there Monday, into that cold weather, but am looking forward to seeing my dad and helping him. It was sunny and 75 here today. 😎🌴

    1. Thank you!πŸ™‚ I love night photography, but have struggled trying to capture the images I want with the iPhone and Nikon and was thrilled this one turned out.πŸ™‚

  4. Hmmmm. How do you feel about February? That’s the one which bogs down my wife: “It’s the lo-o-ongest month!” she will say. Here in NC, this is when autumn asserts itself. Temps this week struggled to get into the 50s (I know…sorry), and we finally got some killing frosts. Trees dumped leaves in wholesale quantities. What had seemed like a nice, warmish transitory period to autumn ended abruptly.

    1. I had a brief debate with myself between February and November being the worst and November won because it has more days and doesn’t have the Super Bowl.πŸ™‚
