Friday Favorite – β€œBad Dogs, Bad Dogs, Whatcha Gonna Do”

While the photo may not capture it, we’ve made tremendous progress in the future friendship of Harper and Benny during the week. Could be Harper has a little bit of an attitude after we were catching up on the latest Bad Boys movie in the favorite franchise or exhaustion from all the clicking and beeping noises during the power surges and outages. It appears we began and ended the week with a β€œbad” attitude, but in between we enjoyed plenty of laughs with Martin Lawrence and Will Smith in Bad Boys: Ride or Die and Vince Vaughn in the great new Apple TV+ series Bad Monkey.

  1. Harper is growling! She is used to being top dog in the house and doesn’t want to share. I hope they do get along soon.

  2. That picture is priceless!

I thought Bad Boys was a hoot. Loved the vibe between Smith and Lawrence. Also, we are enjoying Bad Monkey.

Give little Harper a pat on the head for me and tell her she’s a good dog.

    1. Thank you and Harper appreciates the understanding!!🐾😁 After one month together there is hope they will be buddies one day. Bad Boys is another one that falls in the rewatchables category and the two of them are great together and I laugh every time. Wasn’t expecting Bad Monkey to be so good and what a great role for Vince Vaughn.πŸ™‚

  3. Who doesn’t like bad monkeys, dogs and boys?!
Happy to read progress is being made between those pups!
Hopefully, you’ll be enjoying a pleasant early fall weekend, warm not hot and with all services fully up and running. And Everton gets a win.

    1. Thank you!!🐾😁 We’ve definitely gone from they’ll never like each other to hope for a future friendship. On one of the bad days I did mention to my niece Harper has watched a lot of horror movies with me and hope she doesn’t trap him in one of the rooms.😁 Tomorrow is completely booked with college football, but hopefully I’ll notice our improved weather on Sunday. Enjoy the weekend and no relegation talk until September!😁

    1. Harper has been spending the last month adjusting to my niece’s new puppy. When it started we were not sure Harper would ever even look at the dog, but we are very happy that Harper and Benny are becoming good buddies.πŸΎπŸ™‚
