It’s been such an exhausting week that I almost forgot it began with snow. I was diagnosed with cancer one year ago today and spent this last week going through the process of getting all the tests and paperwork done for the next line of treatment now that the cancer has returned. Over the last two months there was lost hope, rebellious hope and a strong drive to find another treatment option once tests indicated the cancer recurrence. There was a span over 44 days that between Harper and me we had 37 appointments. Full days of doctoring over the last week left me with an exhaustion I was not expecting and made me think this is what running a marathon must feel like. Unfortunately, my complicated and aggressive lymphoma is kicking into high gear again and we have to hope they can keep it under control until I receive my treatment in mid December. It was my 11 year blogging anniversary this week and I wanted to thank all of you for the enjoyment over the years and that your support and prayers have helped tremendously this year. Please continue to send any positive vibes, prayers or fairy dust out into the universe as I continue to be grateful for each day and fight for another year.
