Monday Musings…On A Saturday

When I last checked in during mid November I was working on getting ready for a new cancer treatment for my lymphoma that has never reached remission. I want to thank everyone for the prayers and positive vibes that have helped me make it through this last month where I was very ill again with the lymphoma advancing rapidly and I’ve just returned home from the hospital after receiving more chemo that will hopefully help slow the disease and still allow me the opportunity for the new treatment if we can get the lymphoma back under control. I am very thankful and lucky to have an excellent doctor and medical team that have helped me maintain my hope as they continue to give me their best treatment plans and prayers and a wonderful family that keeps me going every day with laughter, support and love. I have a little strength back and hope to catch up on blogs this weekend and hope you had Thanksgiving blessings and peace over the last few weeks. Harper about lost her mind when I arrived home yesterday and we’re looking forward to a weekend of cozy blankets and football since somehow we’re already in the middle of a cold snowy winter.

Lord, bring full healing to my friend and renew her strength like the morning sun. Amen 🙏

    1. Thank you so much for the prayers and hugs!❤️ So far my numbers are improving with the latest chemo and hopefully they have found a combination that can get me to the next step. Wrapped up in a blanket right now watching it snow and thrilled to be home and hopefully I can regain some strength soon. Hope all is well with you!❤️

  6. 👍🏼 Thanks for the update… I’ve been wondering how you’ve been doing, keeping you in my thoughts and sending you all the best wishes. Yes, winter has come early this year it seems. It’s been ages since we’ve had December snow that stayed around. 🥰

      1. Thank you, all is well here. Shaping up to be a quiet holiday season so far, which is fine with us ‘old’ folks. 😉
