Wild Goose Chase

If you feel the urge, don’t be afraid to go on a wild goose chase. ย What do you think wild geese are for anyway?

Beautiful captures, it looks as if the goose is smiling at the camera in the last shot :o)

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ I have never had geese fly directly toward me and I was hoping it was a happy greeting of honking and smiles.๐Ÿ˜

    1. Thank you!๐Ÿ™‚ Iโ€™ve been chased by swans, but this was the first time the geese decided to give me a friendly warning as they flew right by me.๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Hope that last shot is a crop, it looks like it is headed straight at you! Being attacked by an angry goose is really scary!

    1. I was standing on a walkway in the marshland when he decided to fly directly at me. This photo is not cropped and I managed a close-up shot of his feet as he flew by.๐Ÿ™‚ The second one immediately followed and they were both honking as they flew right past me. It happened so quickly that my only option would have been to move backwards and end up in the water.๐Ÿ™‚
