Not a great title, but after four days in the hospital this moon child was exhausted staring up at the moon when I took Harper outdoors after we celebrated I was back home. My ten year blogging anniversary was last week and after sharing my little world over the years with blogging friends I thought I would share this next phase of my life. Thankfully I changed doctors the day before I went into the hospital and had exceptional care while they tried to figure out what was going on. I had three medical specialist groups with wonderful nurse practitioners, interns and doctors monitoring everything and very kind, funny and excellent nurses. At this point, the mono diagnosis was wrong, my kidney had stopped functioning and required a stent and I have an appointment with an oncologist next week to confirm a B-cell lymphoma diagnosis and treatment plan. It was a very scary and painful few days, but thankfully the pain is gone and they indicated I have a type that is easier to treat and slow growing. Iβm more exhausted than Iβve probably ever been in my life and am hoping to get some strength back this week. I got a little boost of energy when my Buffalo Bills defeated the Kansas City Chiefs last night. Iβll be back to reading blogs this week and may have a photo to share occasionally.
